My interest in the study of elections dates to my years at Grinnell College (BA, 2008) and the University of Chicago (MA, 2011). Following this round of schooling, I was a research fellow with the electoral reform nonprofit FairVote (2012), located in Washington D.C., working on proportional representation, ranked-choice voting, and electoral college reform.

On a personal note, I am a devotee of Sibelius and Shostakovich, a tennis player, and a doting dog uncle. I'm happy to talk collaborations, or classical music!
