Sheahan G. Virgin

I am Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science at Saint Mary's College, IN, teaching courses on American political behavior and research design. In 2019, I received my Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University; the year prior, the College of Arts and Science named me its Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant, across all 33 departments.
My research, which focuses on electoral rules—in particular the motivation to reform those rules—has been published in Electoral Studies and is currently R&R’ed at The American Journal of Political Science.
